Brown Books is located in Springwood, a small town in the beautiful world-heritage area of the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

The shop has been in business in the same arcade for twenty years but 2007 saw a change of ownership and a new name – Brown Books.

Our focus at Brown Books is our customers – providing the kinds of books they are most interested in. To this end, we travel widely and often to search out books to meet our customers’ needs. We also regularly buy good books from within the local area. We don’t sell online, focusing instead on our local booklovers and those who travel to our town.

Brown Books has a reputation for its warm vintage feel, its friendly service and its good range of quality books at reasonable prices.Our shop offers a pleasurable experience for any booklover, with many unusual and collectible treasures alongside mainstream titles and categories.
